We did an outdoor event where they barbecued on site, in our yard. We hired Skuddlebutts to cater our sons 1st birthday party this summer. I wouldnt say this was the best burger in the western suburbs by any stretch but it might just be the best, or close to it, for those that you can have delivered. The flavors were good and I had no complaints. While I wish more fries had been included, the burger itself was bigger than I had hoped for so it evened out. I had ordered a burger, cheese fries, and a couple of drinks. Ordered here for delivery as I was knee deep in work on the weekend and with my wife out with the kids just wanted something simple and had heard good things.ĭelivery was quicker than expected (bonus) and the food was hot.

I always think of them on our movie nights! My BF likes the sausage or pepperoni with onions or green peppers.This way, we can share (with leftovers for a small snack/lunch) and not even have to leave the house. They are one fo the few places Ive tried that can do this pizza just the way I like it. Sometimes there isnt enough pineapple to balance the saltiness of the bacon.

but the thin crust pizza is good and the staff is super friendly! Get the coupons from their website and/or menus- you can get free delivery, or a free 2 liter, etc. It IS a little pricier than I would normally like to pay. Our menu included several salads, the potatoes, ribs, baked/fried chicken, Italian beef and a veggie tray.all of it was delicious and made a very pleasing presentation. The food itself was outstanding and we received compliments from every single guest.

The delivery person was very efficient and professional set up was easy peasy. Tables/chairs delivered Friday for a Sunday event so we had plenty of time for set up (also picked up in a timely manner on Monday morning).Ībout the food. My first experience with Scuddlebutts catering was outstanding! I was able to order everything I needed - from the food, to the warming stands/fuel, tables and chairs. Thank you to the team at SKuddlebutts the party was a HIT!

THE FRIED CHICKEN THO-Seriously, awesome flavor with perfectly crispy skin and juicy, plump chicken perfectly cooked-2 whole trays disappeared in minutes! The Italian Beef was tasty and the bread excellent for boosting the au jus and the marinara! When it comes to mostaccioli, it is near impossible to impress a bunch of Italians but the hearty gravy (sauce) and mounds of parmesan cheese WOWed the whole family! We got a catering order this past weekend for my Moms Birthday and I wanted to share my experience because I will never cater from anywhere else! The food was excellent and generous, and they accommodated all our requests with some awesome customer service! Im not sure that Id order from Skuddlebutts again, but I am certain I would never dine in again. While eating, an employee belched loudly.
When I received my pizza, without an apology for waiting so long, it was missing an ingredient but I was still charged for it. I had to walk up to ask for my pizza that had been sitting under the heat lamp for an uncertain amount of time. The cashier said it would take 15-20 minutes for my 2 small pizzas, only to wait 45 minutes while listening to the staff complain about work and swear in front of children. The seating area was not so clean, flies on the window sill and food left from previous customers for who knows how long before I arrived. My 1 star is related more towards my dine in experience.
